Perform detailed modeling of inverter‑based resources, protective device settings, and incident‑energy calculations to ensure system safety and reliability.
Engineer point of interconnection (POI) tie‑in layouts, metering systems, export control logic, and voltage‑regulation schemes to meet utility or ISO requirements.
Design AC‑ and DC‑coupled BESS solutions, including switchgear, inverter control logic, and system dispatch interfaces for resiliency and grid‑support applications.
Reliability, Safety & Lifecycle Support
Provide factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) support for inverters, protective relays, transformers, switchgear, and storage units to ensure performance and quality.
Develop SCADA and remote‑monitoring systems for performance metrics, fault detection, and NERC CIP or similar compliance where applicable.
Plan electrical systems with enclosure ventilation, thermal stress mitigation, surge protection, and weather‑hardening for high‑wind or high‑irradiance environments.
